Yoga & Somatic Therapy Classes

I am a RYT-200 qualified yoga facilitator, with additional trainings in anatomy, trauma informed yoga and yin yoga. My group classes combine yoga with neuroscience infomed somatics to help participants engage with mindful movement that is all about how it feels, not about how it looks. Somatic yoga focuses on being aware of our internal state as we practice, with a particular focus on regulating the nervous system. My classes always include guided therapeutic practices to help participants support their mental and emotional wellbeing.

Yoga 1-2-1 – £55

Yoga 1-2-1 can focus on your movement goals and physical health, as well as your mental and emotional well-being. I work with clients to improve their range of movement, connect with their bodies, and ground their nervous system. I specialise in supporting women recovering from illness, struggling with pain and fatigue, and dealing with postpartum or menopause related dysfunction. At our initial contracting we would agree to some goals that you have for the sessions and design a programme to work toward together. Sessions are conducted at The Wee Therapy Room, Bridge of Allan (or in certain circumstances at the client’s home).

I run regular group classes in the Stirling area. Visit mind-body-movement.com to find the schedule and book.

A library of pre-recorded classes varying in length from 10 minutes to 45 minutes, sorted into categories to make it easier to find what you are looking for. New classes are added each week, often in response to member requests. Subscription is on a monthly basis and can be cancelled at any time. Subscribers also receive a weekly email on Monday morning linking directly to new classes and offering a suggested calendar of classes for the week to make a consistent practice easier.
